Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston gave her ECMO which is a lifesaving treatment. The kidneys of her did not heal when she contracted an infection with septicae and eventually suffered several organ malfunctions. The new standard was hemodialyses as well as peritoneal dialysis. After 80 straight days in hospital, from death to recovery she finally returned home, but her life forever changed. Angelica's entire life was transformed after she was diagnosed with kidney dialysis. Her mother was the sole one who could donate a kidney. Angelica, along with her mom underwent an organ transplant successfully on the 13th of September, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were located right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always dreamed of becoming an actress as well as a performer and is currently working towards that goal.
